I. Material and Galvanizing Process: Double Guarantee of Durability
1. Base Material
The base material for galvanized Z-beam is primarily low-carbon structural steel, with the mainstream grades being Q235 and Q355:
Q235 steel: Yield strength ≥ 235 MPa
Q355 steel: Low-alloy, high-strength steel with a yield strength ≥ 355 MPa, offering superior impact resistance and load-bearing capacity.
The base material thickness typically ranges from 1.5 mm to 4.0 mm, and can be flexibly selected based on load-bearing requirements. The thicker the thickness, the greater the overall structural resistance to deformation.
2. Galvanizing Process
The galvanizing layer is the core of Z-shaped steel's corrosion resistance and is hot-dip galvanized (cold galvanizing is used in some applications).
