Aluminum Coil

For aluminum products, we have three layers of waterproof packaging. 1. Waterproof thick plastic paper is used inside to prevent water ingress. 2. The second layer is packed with thick kraft paper, which is waterproof and prevents surface scratches, further enhancing the anti-rust effect. 3. Thick iron sheet packaging is used outside, which not only protects the steel coils in depth, but also plays a wear-resistant role. We use special full-wrapped corner guards for the corners. It can effectively prevent the steel coils from being collided and damaged during transportation and loading and unloading.

Description

Aluminum coil is a continuous coiled aluminum product made of pure aluminum or aluminum alloy through smelting, casting, hot rolling, cold rolling and other processes.

According to the different alloy components,
it can be divided into
1 series pure aluminum coil (such as 1060, 1070, high purity, good ductility),
3 series aluminum-manganese alloy coil (such as 3003, with good corrosion resistance and processing performance),
5 series aluminum-magnesium alloy coil (such as 5052, high strength, often used in marine environment), etc.

Performance

Tensile strength:
1060 pure aluminum coil has a tensile strength of about 75-105MPa;
3003 aluminum-manganese alloy coil has a tensile strength of 140-180MPa;
5052 aluminum-magnesium alloy coil has a tensile strength of up to 210-240MPa.
Elongation: 1060 pure aluminum coil has a higher elongation, which can reach 20-25%; 3003 aluminum coil has an elongation of about 15-20%; 5052 aluminum coil has an elongation of 12-18%.

Advantages of our aluminum:

1. Low density and light weight: The density of aluminum is about 2.7g/cm³, which is only about 1/3 of that of steel. Using aluminum coils can greatly reduce the weight of products.

2. Good corrosion resistance: Aluminum has strong corrosion resistance and is suitable for various harsh environments.

3. Excellent processing performance: Aluminum coils have good ductility, plasticity and weldability, and can be made into various shapes and sizes through rolling, stamping, stretching, bending, welding and other processing methods.

4. Good electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity: The electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity of pure aluminum coils are second only to silver and copper.

5. Strong recyclability: Aluminum is a metal material that can be recycled and reused infinitely.
