PRODUCT DETAILS
Product Description
Stainless steel is a corrosion-resistant alloy steel based on iron with alloy elements such as chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), molybdenum (Mo), and titanium (Ti). The chromium content ≥10.5% is the key to its corrosion resistance. According to different organizational structures, it is mainly divided into five categories:
Austenitic stainless steel (such as 304, 316L): non-magnetic, good toughness, excellent corrosion resistance, and the most widely used;
Ferritic stainless steel (such as 430): magnetic, stress corrosion resistant, and low cost;
Martensitic stainless steel (such as 410, 420): can be strengthened by heat treatment, high hardness, and weak corrosion resistance;
Duplex stainless steel (such as 2205): austenite + ferrite dual-phase structure, with both strength and corrosion resistance;
Precipitation hardening stainless steel (such as 17-4PH): hardened by aging treatment, used in high-strength corrosion-resistant scenarios.
Appearance characteristics: The surface has a silvery white metallic luster and can be processed into glossy (2B), matte (No.4), mirror (8K), etc., or the texture can be changed through processes such as sandblasting and brushing.

Application description:
1. Food and medical
Scenario: food processing equipment (storage tanks, pipes), kitchen utensils (tableware, sinks), medical devices (scalpels, implants);
Core grades: 304, 316L (corrosion-resistant, easy to clean, and compliant with food contact safety standards).
2. Chemical and marine engineering
Scenario: chemical reactors, seawater desalination equipment, ship accessories (pumps, valves, pipes);
Core grades: 316L, 2205 (chloride ion corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance).
3. Building decoration
Scenario: curtain walls, handrails, elevator panels, sculptures;
Core grades: 304 (mirror/brushed treatment), 430 (low-cost decorative parts).
4. Energy and electricity
Scenario: nuclear power plant pressure vessels, thermal power plant superheater tubes, chemical pipelines;
Core grades: 310S (high temperature resistance), 347 (intergranular corrosion resistance).
5. Machinery and Aerospace
Applications: bearings, valves, and aircraft engine parts;
Core grades: 440C (high-hardness martensitic stainless steel, used for tool bearings), 17-4PH (precipitation-hardened stainless steel, used for high-strength parts).
Shipping Packaging
1. Sheet/Roll Packaging
Inner Packaging:
Plastic film or oil paper is used to prevent scratches and moisture (such as 2B surface stainless steel plate);
Precision sheets (such as mirror 8K) are separated by pearl cotton or corrugated paper to avoid friction.
Outer Packaging:
Fixed with wooden box or iron frame (to prevent shaking during transportation), tied with steel belt;
Label: brand, specification (thickness × width × length), surface treatment, furnace number.
